Book Illustration for Watercress, Willow and Wine
Watercress, Willow and Wine is a celebration of English vineyards, local produce and seasonal recipes. Working closely with the author, designer and publisher, I created over 160 illustrations, including the cover, maps, vineyard illustrations and supporting artwork throughout the book. The project developed a coherent visual language to guide readers through stories of food, place and landscape, balancing information with warmth and character. The book was shortlisted for the 2023 Fortnum & Mason Food and Drink Awards and stocked in Waterstones and The Royal Academy.
